Get-Away-Gig Classroom Masterpiece

For its  last classroom masterpiece at St. George’s, the 8th grade class has created a beautiful ceramic nativity set.  Each student let his/her individual talents show as he/she molded and shaped each figure.  The pieces were created with intricate patterns and textures in clay.  The characters are presented in a beautiful wooden creche handcrafted by Mr. Kevin Powell.  It is a treasure worth having and enjoying for years to come.

appetizer or dessert?  This is the auction item for you.  The SGES 5^th grade students have created a set of dishes that include a white rectangular platter and 12

appetizer plates.  The pieces are adorned with black line drawings of trees.  Jazz up your next gathering by using these one of a kind dishes.  These pieces would also be amazing hung on a wall.

This lovely group of three canvases was artistically

painted by the 4th grade class.  They are painted from the perspective of a person lying on his back and

gazing towards the sky.  The whimsical black trees are surrounded by many multicolored leaves.  This unique painting is sure to brighten any

space in your home.

This one of a kind canvas is sure to be a conversation starter for your next get together.  The Pre-K 3 class

energetically painted the background with acrylic paints.  They then added patterned fabrics and papers in the shape of a flower.  Be sure to bid on this precious item.

Third Grade's Gig Masterpiece-In Progress

The third grade students have been busy working on their Get-Away-Gig masterpiece.  They have painted the background of their canvas, created collage birds and painted branches.  Check back soon to see the finished project.

Get-Away-Gig Classroom Masterpieces

SGES art classes are beginning to work on classroom masterpieces for the Get-Away-Gig.  Each class creates a collaborative masterpiece to be auctioned off the night of the gig.  Past projects include ceramic nativity pieces, canvas painting, Adirondack chairs and many more!  I cannot wait for you to see this years creations.  Check back for photos of the kids in action!
